They helped with the animals and tried to clean up the messes. They set up camps and places for people to stay for the people who lost their homes. There were many squads who tried their best to save as many animals as they could.

Bad

  1. By not establishing an exact time on when supplies would arrive
  2. Transcripts released say government officials knew levee would overflow but did nothing
  3. Didn't allow doctor or nurses to help because they were more afraid of liability than their people. (shame)
  4. When other countries offered help they refused it.

The government didn't do anything about it. They new a week before the hurricane was coming but didn't think it would be that bad.
