Yes, Native Americans actually have the highest enrollment numbers as an ethnic group in WWI and WWII. They were used a code talkers, and scouts. I think the number is roughly 16,000 enlisted in the 1900's to help... and something like 25,000 in WWII. Almost half the population during WWI weren't legal citizens yet, so many were with voluteer enlistment rewarded by being granted citizenship.

After they won the won, the newly formed USA tore up the treaties and took land from the Native Americans and forced the Native Americans to move farther west or north to Canada.
