At least a third of the population was wiped out, meaning there were less people to fill the jobs so peasants workers couldn't be easily replaced. If they couldn't be replaced, the working conditions and pay had to be better.

They could have got higher wages because there were less workers, they made more technology to make up for the missing people, they learned stuff, equipment were cheaper and the towns weren't overpopulated.

Well i have been studing on the black death and if they had survived (which was unlikely) they would have been so much cleaner and and would have maybe moved away.

ANSWER:

The plague improved the lives of the survivors in many ways. They were able to move into large abandoned estates and simply take them over, along with whatever land and orchards came with them. Less people meant less competition for resources, so they were able to eat better and live better lives.

They were able to take over the farms and homes of the dead and start over, with free farmland, crops, and less mouths to feed. It helped them enormously.
