It helped them protect their people and have armor at the ready for a battle.

Some woman fight. Some are nurses and help the soilders with their injuries.
florence nightgale was a nures and she went to crimea to help the soilders.
florences job was to train nurses to help soilders that are wounded and who are injured
to prevent the enemies from entruding the trenches and it could help the gunners get an accurate view of the enemy
by being a soldier and helping out hurt soilders.. she accomplished many things.
it hurt them by loosing soilders and gaing weapons and clothing
