W.E.B De Boise an African American Socialogist, historian and economist impact was devising the self promotion and awareness of Africain American civil rights through the development of Africian American culture, economics and social presence. His influence upon the Harlem Renaissance was through the economic and social promotion of Arts. This means they could establish and define African Americans a civil and cultural segement of U.S. Society therfore a push towards equality and civil rights during a time of segregation.
Under there segregation created a mass cultural unique Artistic mediums promoted as a new industry opportunity (Jazz, Literature and the vehichles of business) displaying value and enrichment into non-africain communities but an american benefitual culture as well.
W.E.B. Du Bois had a significant influence on the Harlem Renaissance by promoting the idea of racial pride and uplifting the African American community through his writing and activism. He advocated for social and political equality, which inspired many artists and writers of the Harlem Renaissance to address issues of race and identity in their work. W.E.B. Dubois started the NAACP. By doing this Dubois encouraged African American artists and intellectuals to come forth and gather together.
