Home Schooling (may not have been called this) was started long before there was public schools in America or before this. From the creation of man until now it has been the parents responsibility to school their children at home. It is not a new concept or new idea, it has always been the parents responsibility to teach their children. Public schools were started to help parents provide a "quality" education for their children, but with many school systems failing in the education process today, many parents are reclaiming their rights to teach their children at home.
