The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 10:31: "So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God."
The greatest commandment given in the Bible is to love the LORD, your God, with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. We must also love each other just as we love ourselves.
We honor God when we do His will and obey His commandments. His will can only be known by studying the Bible and by believing in Him.
Most Christians believe that Deity is Jesus while Jews don't. They believe that God is the Creator with no incarnation.
It can be either way. In the Bible it is always capitalized, so Christians generally capitalize it when referring to their own deity. If talking about no particular deity or deities in general, or implying that the deity does not exist, do not capitalize.
the ziggurat was initially built in honor of some deity or the other.
It depends on whether or not you respect the deity or not. For instance, Christians will capitalize He, Him, Who, and Whom when referring to God, but non-Christians generally do not, particularly when emphasizing that they do not share a faith with Christians. The capitalization of deity pronouns is purely a matter of reverence, rather than grammatical rules or norms. In short, if you want to avoid offending someone by disrespecting their deity, it is probably better to capitalize Who.

The Christians, or some of them, were considered criminals because they refused to give honor to the state gods. This was the same as undermining the government and the prosperity of the state. The Christians, or some of them, were considered criminals because they refused to give honor to the state gods. Christianity has no goddesses. Christians worship only one God. He stands alone with no female consort or fellow-deity .
A brief comparison -Christians:* Have a deity * See mankind as needing divine intervention to be "good" * Are rewarded or punished eternally fo their deeds * Live only one life * Seek intervention from their deity * Have rules, but not injunctions, for killing Buddhists:* Have no deity* See enlightenment as an achieveent that individuals reach on their own * Reach Nirvana eventually * Are reincarnated * Have no divine intervention in their lives * HAve a suggested path to follow for proper behavior
You could say that, but at Church we just learn about the Bible and how to honor him.
No, the core beliefs are quite different although they intersect on some points of behaviour. Buddhists have no deity, human advancement away from suffering is done by human effort without any supernatural intervention. Buddhists have no absolute right or wrong only suggestions for proper behavior. Christians have a deity and a complex system of behavioral rules which may or may not allow a deity grant "salvation". In addition the deity offers rewards or punishments for failure to obey. Neither side would willingly give up their point of view for the other's.
The three good deities named Yahweh (the main god), Jesus (the god's son), and the Holy Ghost. Together, they up the 'Trinity'. The evil deity is named Satan.
Christlike. In Corinth it was at first a derogatory term but the Christians took it on in honor.
