The Apostles Creed:I believe in God the Father, Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth:
And in Jesus Christ, his only begotten Son, our Lord:
Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary:
Suffered under Pontius Pilate;
was crucified, dead and buried: He descended into hell:
The third day he rose again from the dead:
He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty:
From thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead:
I believe in the Holy Ghost:
I believe in the holy catholic church: the communion of saints:
The forgiveness of sins:
The resurrection of the body:
And the life everlasting. Amen.
There is nothing in the Apostles Creed that can be applied to ordinary life. It is simply a statement of belief.
They follow the creed by believing in what it says.
By believing in one God, creator of heaven and earth. And in Jesus Christ his Son who came to show love to mankind.
by following it
I suppose they use it to reaffirm their faith. Reading the word of God everyday will also reaffirm your faith and is probably better than mindlessly repeating the Apostles Creed.

It all depends on how you define a Christian. If a Christian is someone who believes, follows, and worships Jesus Christ, then yes, they are Christian. Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the 'Mormon' church) do consider themselves to be Christian, but they are not Protestant or Catholic Christians (they are Restorationist Christians). Mormons do not use the traditional Christian creeds (such as the Apostles Creed and the Nicene Creed) so many mainstream Christian leaders categorize them as non-Christians. Mormons believe in and worship Jesus Christ. They devote their lives to following His example and teachings. They regard the Bible (King James Version) as the sacred word of God. However, they believe that true Christianity was lost from the face of the earth at the death of Jesus' Apostles, and therefore do not adhere to doctrines, creeds, and practices that entered Christianity after that time. You can learn more about what Mormons believe at the "Related Links" below and decide for yourself if they are a Christian faith.
The Apostles were not paid. They spent their lives following Jesus around for no pay.
The Apostles Creed is not to be followed in any day life. The books of Romans thru Philemon will teach about how God wants you to live, but mostly on what to believe.Christians do put the creed in to their everyday lives by going to church and praying but most of all being one with GOD!
The Protestants broke away from the catholic church, because they wanted to live and worship as the Bible said, rather than, having the catholic church dictated and control the beliefs and their lives, as history has well informed us. So true Protestants resent the mention of the catholic church, in the creed. True Prostestants and catholics are vastly different.
