Its still resident in registry - using REGEDIT you can access the registry and seek out the software tab and look for FSZ entry. This should only be done if you are confident and competent else you can cause functional issues with your machine. Best option is wind back to the restore point made before FSX was installed
You can after you uninstall it, not while it is currently installed. If you need to reinstall the files due to problems, go to uninstall it and there is a repair option.

Uninstalling GIMP is just like uninstalling any other program (if you have Windows). Go to start > control panel > uninstall a program (under Programs). Scroll down the list and click on GIMP and then click uninstall. An uninstall wizard should pop up that will uninstall the program.
