The department of Labor can help you even if you worked part time or seasonally. You can fill out their online request form and wait for approval.

I work for a plumming Co. I have not had any hours since the end of October. My boss told me to keep calling in to see if he has any hours for me. When I Call goes to voice mail.I Called from another number and he picked up. Still has no work said he would see if he had anything when I asked about filing for unemployment he said no I can't file. Is the true?
