The best thing you can do to help control your Diabetes is to follow a diabetic diet and get some exercise. Cut out the sweets and root vegetables like potatoes and turnips. Get at least 30 minutes of exercise a day even if it is just walking. Beyond that all I can advise is you should listen to your doctor. I'm going through this with my husband right now and so far the dietary change and exercise has helped a lot. Good luck!!
