How do I convince my mom to get another dog?

Look for all you puppy lovers and want a puppy but your momz is trippin try showing a little more responsibilty and respect do the dishes without being asked say yes and no mam and you'll get what you want(you have to show puppy love to get the treat).

Let me tell you how I'm convinceing my mom to get the dog! "play it cool" I'll tell ya how ok 1st say "mom can i get a dog?" she will probably be happy,nurvous,shocked,and like no. but after this she will smile when you ask her .2nd if your mom likes tea/coffe always offer to make her tea/coffe. 3rd Act cute. 4th take your mom to a place where you can hold a dog then show her how responsible you are! 5th make shore you behave take care of your self more so she thinks you can handle a dog! Mom may use "no money " as a example that's no really true unless you really can't afford it 9 times out of 10 its the responsible thing! 6th go over a friends house with a dog take your mom! tell your friend you want to give it a bath bring your mom in the bathroom with the dog show your mom how to give a dog a bath!! show her animal hospitals go out and buy all the suplies! she will feel like your responsible . 7th when she talks about problems listen and give her advice! with in a year or 2 you will have a dog ! from, Breanna! It depends on whether your responsible or not. If you show them you can feed, walk, and clean up afteryour existing animals they might consider another animal in the house. Caring for it includes paying for its needs, giving it lots of attention, feeding it, giving it plenty of fresh cold water at all times, and playing with it every day! The answer to this is actually quite simple.

1) Decide what pet you want, specifically.

2) Do a bunch of research on that animal. Find out what it needs to eat, thrive, cage requirements, time with you, etc.

3) Type up a two page essay to your parents telling them why you should receive said animal. Include the research that you've done, the pros and cons of the animal, and your promise to take great care of it.

4) Don't rush your parents, asking for a live animal is a big deal. Never beg. Always be very formal and cordial in your speaking to your parents to assure them that you are responsible.

5) Suck up. Clean a few rooms in your house, including your bedroom, and keep them all clean. Keep a positive attitude and always be willing to help around the house. If you do get the animal, keep this behavior up. Show your parents you deserved to get it.

ok that might work. or the way i am doing it. i want a dog sop i will use that.

#1) think about your family's situation. mom doesent like birds dad doesent like cats, fish are...fish. that leaves reptile or rodent or dog. Reptiles r out for slightly inexplicable reasons. rodents are most oftain short lived so arent a great choice for us. that leaves dog or ferret (a longer lived rodent).

#2) with those two choices i approach my parents. talking to mom first (dad doesn't really want any animal in the house) after some discussion the animal dog proves the best choice, mom wants a indoor guard dog.

#3) Then we approach dad, stating why the animal would be good, i promise to help pay for the dog and supplies, and to help care for him.

#4) then once the family is convinced we go to the dog store, look at the available dogs, we need a hypoallergenic one. some dogs we have been looking at are shnowser, and wheaten terrier.

#5) get the house yard or anything else ready for the dog. we put up a fence. and get any other animals ready for the experience, our current dog is meeting new dogs and our cats are seeing our current dog more often.
