Please note that cuteness and/or fluffiness are NO basis for moral grounds. Also "abuse" is misused as it, by definition, is mutually exclusive of "killing", and in addition it depends on your definition of "pests". Killing "pests" like parasites or creatures that infest your home, breed, and spread filth is one thing (flies/female mosquitoes/spiders/cockroaches/bedbugs/termites/silverfish/etc...). While killing "pests" that merely live in your house for shelter without actually causing harm is another thing entirely (mice/ladybugs/etc...)
