Basically, if you're at all nervous about using live mice there is an alternative. Most pet stores will sell frozen mice, that you can then set out to warm in the sun before simply tossing into your snake's cage.
Garter snakes refer to the small to medium sized snakes that are often kept by people as pets. They aren't poisonous and are relatively harmless.
"Westgate Resorts does allow pets, but not large pets. They only allow pets 60 pounds or under. You can bring a small to medium sized dog, but no Great Danes or St. Brenards!"
Corn Snakes! I have two and they are the best for pets and beginners!
You can't, you can only remind them to feed their pets.
Most house pets can be afraid of snakes. However if the snakes are small and are kept in a secluded area then they should be fine. I would suggest you separate your pets just in case.
yesPampiress-I power feed my snakes. I have a 3 foot Ball Python, a 5 foot Ball Python, and a 12 foot Burmese Python. With our two Balls, we feed once a month usually (unless cash flow lets us feed weekly) and they do fine with it. We feed the 3 foot either 4 small white mice or one medium rat. The 5 foot, we feed her either 6 small whites or two medium rats. Our 12 foot, we feed either 5 extra large rats or three rabbits. Although it is safe to power feed a Burmese, it is not advisable. They will go into a feeding frenzy. They will eat as long as you are putting food in with them. They will over gorge themselves, for they have no stopping sense when it comes to eating. They will eat even if they are not hungry.
You mean as pets? Those would be cats and dogs. Also small and medium-sized birds such as parakeets (Melopsittacus undulatus) or parrots would qualify as such.
a few common pet snakes are corn snakes, milk snakes and pythons
