How do yoy catagorize questions?
To categorize an existing question, click on the question to go to its home page. Just below the question, you'll see a list of categories, or possibly "uncategorized." Click on the blue pencil beside those and choose the most relevant categories for your question. To categorize a new question, during the asking process, you will be asked what categories you want to place your question in. Choose up to three relevant categories and submit your question.
Where can you find unanswered questions about animals?
Click "Browse Categories" on the left under Site Tools, and then search for an Animal Category. In that category, click "Unanswered questions" and you will be taken to a list of all the Unanswered questions in that category.
How do you find a particular category to answer questions in on this site?
Click on the word "Wikianswers" at the top of this page and it leads to the front page of the site. The categories are listed there. At the bottom right side of the list are the words "More categories". That is one way to get to the categories. You can click on each one to find subcategories. The second way to get to the list of categories is to click on the words "Browse categories" under "Site tools" in the blue bar on the left of every page.
How do you search unanswered questions using Answers.com's new interface?
There is a link at the upper left-hand corner of this page that says "Unanswered Questions." Once you click that, you will be taken to a list of several different categories that lets you specify which unanswered questions you are looking for. Once you click any of these categories, you will be taken to a list of unanswered questions pertaining to that specified category.
Unanswered social studies questions?
To find unanswered social studies questions on WikiAnswers, go to the "Social Sciences" category. In the upper left-hand corner, you will find the word "Unanswered." If you click on one of those, you will go to that category page and there will be "Unanswered" in the upper left corner. Is there any category for questions that shouldn't be on WikiAnswers?
There are many, many categories that can be used, including many "catch-all" categories for questions that for various reasons should be removed. Go to any question that you have asked and click on [Edit categories]. You can explore the list. If you click on the triangles to the left of some entries you will see a pull-down of more categories.
Do you have a list of questions on this site that one can see?
There are hundreds of thousands of questions. Each question is placed in one or more categories - depending on the wording within the actual question.

You cannot pick categories without searching for them from the list availed as you ask your question.
Why are humorous questions not separated from the rest of the questions on WikiAnswers?
They are; Humorous questions are found under the humor categories, which include "Humor and Amusement Corner" "Jokes and Riddles" and other clearly marked humor categories. If you see a humorous question that is not in the appropriate category, please recategorize it or contact a supervisor. A list of supervisors can be found at the list below. Humor in answers to questions not in the humor categories should be under the correct answer to the question and clearly marked with "On the Lighter Side" or some other mark to indicate that the humor is not part of the answer.
