well, loud sounds can damage your eardrums. if you always listen to loud music, a constant ringing sound may occur and is very annoying (believe me, i know. my dad and brother like to listen to really loud heavy metal in the car.) your hearing can also worsen. it might help to open your door, or better yet, get out of the room. but the damage can take a while. or maybe not. I'm not sure. I'm only 12 :P

well normally u only have to hit the lock button once ... on my 02 escape if i hit it twice it honks ... granted it is an annoying sound and loud too .... try to just press the lock button only once. see if that locks it instead of pressing it twice.
