Depending upon the person, and the reasons for the depression, there are many different symptoms. Depression is usually accompanied by a lack of initiative, a major change in appetite, and being less socially active than previously. It can include less interest in sex, a desire to spend more time sleeping, and generally becoming more introverted than before.
