to tell u the truth guitar hero 1 was like a mix of heavy rock metal to the whole sooth metal. so in a way it is heavy but its also not very heavy. if u want a heavy rock game i would suggest guitar hero 2.
Guitar string gauge is a personal preference. However, for heavy metal you will most likely want to use a lighter string.
a sequence of notes that you can play to help you write and compose music or help with you to solo, i hated them when i started off but now since I'm into guitar shredding I don't know what I did without them. penatonics are the best kind to learn if you're into metal.. make Zakk Wylde proud.
