Remove the belt.Take out the 3 bolts holding in the power steering pump and lay it aside. The sensor is right there being held in by one bolt.Remove the bolt and pull the sensor out.Becarefull not to twist or angle it as it comes out if its a bit tight.Trust me,you don't want this to break off and the piece fall off in the block.Replace the sensor and remount the steering pump and the belt and you should be good to go!The code in the PCM should reset itself after about 100 miles or so.
Raise the vehicle and locate the speed sensor. Remove the electrical plug. Turn the speed sensor counterclockwise and remove it. Install the new speed sensor.

On my 1990 the crank sensor is behind the vibration dampner. I just replaced it last week.Cost $35.00 at Auto Zone. Just be careful because you have to align the veins on the back of the dampner to go in between the grooves of the sensor.
