- So many people of all ages make the mistake of getting into another relationship far too soon when they have a breakup. It appears you still have some feelings for your ex and never gave yourself time to get over him or to give yourself a chance to know who you are and what you are about and become more independent and this new relationship is based on you rebounding into another relationship too soon. You have memories with your ex so you need time to think things out and realize he has probably gotten on with his life and you need to get on with yours. If you truly love the one you are with then sit down and communicate with him what is going on with you or you will lose him.
