www.hud.gov will help you find out if you qualify for secion 8 housing, and if so, what you need to do in order to apply.
You must apply for subsidized housing by completing an application with the housing authority in your city/county/state to see if you qualify. Some housing developments allow you to complete an application on-site. Consideration is given to income, dependents and other factors. Once approved, you will be given a Section 8 voucher and advised of availability.
