How do you remove the driver side door panel of a 1998 VW Beetle to replace the door handle cable?
The bcm is located behind the fuse panel under the driver side below the steering wheel there is a plastic panel and when you remove that there is the fuse box and behind the fuse box is the bcm
It is on the back side of the under dash fuse panel on the driver side of the dash.
One screw near the handle three under the pull handle then pry with screw driver or interior panel remover.
The fuse panel cover is on the passenger side in a 1998 Oldsmobile intrigue. Same location as vehicles that have it on driver side. Just pull on it and it will pop off.
Its in front of the driver side front tire. Take the tire off in the front of the wheel well theres a panel remove the panel to get to the battery.

Hi, The power control unit on the door panel have clips that will sinmply pop out with a screwdriver exposing a few door panel to body screws. Remove these and the rest of the panel has the same clips.Simply pop them out.Best bet is to replace them after you remove the panel to get a nice tight fit.You can get them from any local parts store. just use a minus scre driver and slide thru the interior cover, it will snap off the body.
Passenger side right foot panel. Remove the panel and it is behind it. There is also one between the driver and passenger under the radio area behind the gear shift. This is for transmission tho I was told.

How do you remove the instrument panel in a 1998 Ford Expedition 5.4 Engine
The 1998 Ford Ranger door panel has eight retaining clips. Pry outward on each retaining clip. Remove the two door handle screws.
Far, driver side of the dash panel.
I use a flat screwdriver to pry them open.
Remove center stack bezel (radio, heater control), remove screws from instrument trim panel at ctr stack and remove instrument trim panel, remove dash top panel, replace speakers.
Unplug the electrical connections and remove the 4 bolts.
remove black plastic panel on inside behind mirror. remove switch panel by pushing forward then lifting up. disconnect wiring. remove panel covering door handle[one screw]. remove screw behind this panel. remove screw at top of arm rest from underneath rest. remove screw from underneath back corner of armrest.now lift straight up on door panel.
remove the door panel screws and pull up on the door panel to correctly remove it. then remove the 3 bolts on the upper corner and unplug and replace
The kick panel is the interior plastic trim panel ahead of the front doors on the passenger and driver side next to the persons feet
