This happened to me for both of my parking lights and a lot of the newer Spectra's I see on the road. I asked my mechanic to see if he could change them for me. I made the mistake of going to the dealership and paying $5 for a single bulb no larger than an eraser. But he gave them to me for a buck. Basically he told me he had to take out the headlight, but on the drivers side you need to take out the battery first.

Actually the drivers side headlight has the battery about half an inch behind it so that 3" plastic cap can't be removed all that easily! The passenger side is a breeze but the drivers side is a pain in the butt. The headlight assembly needs to come out to change the bulb. Remove the top screws on the headlight housing and the screws on the left side (passenger side). Then remove the housing, change the bulb and re-install. Good luck! Under the hood, behind the light is a large screw on type plastic cover about 3" in diameter. It takes only about one full turn to remove. This will expose the bulb and its connector. Pull off the connector by pulling straight back. Push down and out on the wire spring clamp that is holding the bulb in place. When installing a new bulb, don't touch the glass part or it will fail prematurely. To remove the turn indicator, which is closer to the side of the car then the main headlight, simply push in and turn clock wise 1/4 turn.
