unplug it
clamp a pair of vise grips tightly to blade
turn it up on end
find the correct size socket for the bolt on the hub
it should unscrew clockwise (vise grips keep blade from turning)
pull the blade out the top with the vise grips
put the new blade on in reverse order
well..i guess i have an older model b&d circular saw.. and havent found a button to lock the shaft in order to tighten..so just stick a screwdriver in a hole through the blade & tighten bolt. (screwdriver should catch somewhere, if it doesnt...reposition it till it catches on something
The tool has a screw at one end. Loosen this screw which is shaped like a wing nut. The blade will become loose and when it does, look to the handle end. There is a small hook which the blade attaches to, so it will be firm when reattached. Slide the blade off the hook and the other hook which is attached to the screw nut. Place the new blade on these two hooks and tighten the screw nut firmly.
There should be a screw at the top of the blade. Loosen that and the blade slides out easily. Simply slide in the new blade and retighten the screw.
Most have a lock to hold the shaft of the saw from turning and a nut holding the blade on. Hold the shaft, loosen the nut and remove the blade.
The nut usually has reversed threads. So, turn the nut clockwise. Use a scrap piece of wood to keep the blade from turning.
Loosen the wing nut by the handle

You loosen the holding nut and remove it, then remove the blade, exactly the way you do on any table saw.
any saw is the opposite of the way the blade spins!

The hand wheel on the side of a table saw is for tilting the blade arbor
Usually. Most manufacturers now have symbols or pictures designating the intended usage.
They are rated by the size of the blade and usually the bigger the blade, the bigger the table. Actual size is determined by the manufacturer.
Unscrew the handle to relive the tension on the saw. Remove the old blade, hook the new blade over the pins on the saw and tighten the handle back up.
About the only thing they have in common is a large circular blade. The table saw is simply a flat table with a blade that can be raised and tilted. The Radial saw is far more complicated and versatile and can cut in many directions
This is a table saw where the blade arbor can tilt sideways allowing angled cuts. Actually almost all modern table saws do his now.
At least 40 teeth on a 71/4 in circular saw blade
A dado blade is a type of circular blade, used to cut dadoes or grooves in woodworking. A dado blade is normally used with a table saw or a radial arm saw. There are two types of blades: a wobble blade and wobble dado.
