Dogs need to understand that there is a right and wrong difference between going inside and going outside. If not told going inside is wrong, then they will continue to do that because it is where they are comfortable and used to going. When you catch your dog going inside ( and they have to be caught in the act, not after or they won't learn from the experience) immediately disrupt them with a loud firm no and clap with your hands to get their attention and startle them. immediately following this take them straight outside to an appropriate potty place and once there praise them. with consistency your dog will learn that in order to please you they need to not potty in the house.
