It depends on the region. But typically, people from Madagascar are very friendly and helpful. Most of the people speak french and malagasy, so if you know some french its a little easier to get around. You will probably find that people in the villages rather than the bigger cities are friendlier and welcoming. The children are especially enjoyable and they are always fascinated by digital cameras!
