Redeeming it for cash-nothing, however a collector may pay a few dollars for it. This website was helpful for me. Check it out to get more info. http://www.bankrate.com/brm/news/DrDon/20071002_Postal_Savings_System_a1.asp

I found an old waikiki savings and loan association certificate for 1 share in my dad's name. Is this worth anything?
It's a novelty item worth roughly the value of the paper it's printed on.
Does it have a Hawaii or Africa seal? (The Hawii seal is more noticeable than the Africa seal.)
I assume the value is worth around US$10,000.
A silver certificate is paper currency. It is not a coin. No silver dollars were minted in 1943, and no silver certificates were printed with that date either.
It depends on what company issues the certificate of authenticity. If it is a Steiner Sports Marketing product it should be worth around $175 for an 8x10 or $250 for a 16x20. If you have a certificate issued by a company nobody has ever heard of the value plummets as the certificate isn't worth the paper it is printed on. No name company could be worth as little as $50.
Copies are rarely worth much more than the paper they're printed on.
It is worth quite a bit. Check with a paper money error specialist! Maybe $2000 or more.
Very common if it's not a crisp note maybe 2 bucks
