Heat a saturated solution of copper sulfate and water (saturated means it is can not disolve any more) when this is heated pour into a beaker and let it cool at air temp. slowly. DO NOT COOL IT OR HEAT IT! it will take about a week.
The easiest way would be to create a saturated solution of alum in very hot water. (You use hot rather than cold because solubility increases with temperature.) Pour it into a big dish, so you get lots of surface area, and leave it alone until all the water evaporates.

A good explanation of the process can found at the website found below. Enjoy!
You dissolve an alum chemical in to water then put a piece of string in it. leave it for a coupkle of weeks and you will have your alum crystal
i believe you use alum powder
No, the alum grows faster.

Paper sheet having small undissolved alum crystals
Alum crystals turn into a solid mass of anhydrous alum
it depends on how big you want it. if u only do the process once then only a couple of hours
No, the alum grows faster.
Alum crystals and sugar crystals grow at the same rate at an increasing time rate making them grow the fastest

i like alum, and copper sulphate.
To make pure crystals of alum from impure alum, start by dissolving the impure alum in warm water. Filter the solution to remove any impurities, and then cool the filtered solution slowly. As the solution cools, pure alum crystals will start to form. Carefully collect the crystals and allow them to dry to obtain pure crystals of alum.
A substitute that I have seen for in making crystals is alum. It seems to be a great way to grow them.
either Aluminum or Boron are used in the synthesis of alum crystals
You will be aggravated by the difficulty in getting good crystals to grow if you use table salt. If you can get hold of some alum or copper (II) sulfate, both of those salts grow crystals well.
by adding acids in alum crystals
