Some poisonous/ harsh chemicals are ingested by the animals and causing them to die. Or animals switch environments, like monkeys in space, and come back to their original habitats and are mentally disabled and cant survive anymore.

They don't usually get a 'disease' unless by that you mean any kind of discomfort. Animal testing involves taking a product and in some way treating the animal with it. This could be internally, making the animal swallow it or be injected by it, or externally by having it pasted onto the animal's skin or squirted into its eyes, et cetera. Any of these things could make the animal sick or suffer some kind of discomfort such as an allergic reaction.

If this keeps on happening yes, maybe a species may become extinct. When an animal becomes extinct, the whole food chain is thrown out of whack. So try and stop animal testings, they can be stopped by people on strike or stuff like that.
