most animals search for water till they find it.

When in need of water, house pets would walk around and talk or annoy their owner until they would get it. Some cats drink out of toilets(with nothing in it). In the desert, animals would dig through the sand to get to water, or keep on walking until they find a puddle (not likely) or something like that. Then again, camels can go for a really long time with no water. Most animals, strays or wild animals would drink from a pond, puddle, river, lake and so on.

Water cannot disappear unless it is chemically changed. When animals go to the bathroom, part of their urine is water. That water may be boiled to become clean water again.
