If honey bees are living in the wild in a colony, they leave enough space between the combs that they build to allow free passage through the combs. If they live in a hive supplied by a beekeeper, enough 'bee space' is allowed in the manufacture of frames to allow the bees to move freely within the hive.

A beehive is an enclosed structure in which some species of honey bees live and raise their young, or a manmade structure in which bees are reared for their honey.
Honey bees (European originally), although Killer bees will take over a hive.
Bees will sting birds when their beehive is under attack. However, birds tend to be quicker at consuming the insects before the bee can attack.
