birds catch their pray in three ways
1. the wait purched somewhere high up until the prey had been sighted
2.then it waits for the right time to spring out and swoops down in a swift movement to colect the prey
3.it brings the prey back to its nest before eating
they catch there prey by ambushing
They onley eat fruit and veg and some flowers, so do not need to catch pray.

Of course not! You shouldn't catch them. Butterflies you can catch, though. But birds, defenetly not. Just be careful when you catch a butterfly.
