To do a cartwheel you need to improve your balance by practising maybe by standing on your weakest leg to make your balance better. But to do a cartwheel doesn't take much practise, you just have to practise on each hand or which hand you want to start with, so for example when i do cartwheels i start with my left hand and go over on to my right, but when i was practising i did little ones then made then bigger by straightening my legs and putting a little force into it because i was trying to do cartwheels up hill.
BTW: Please for your own safety do not try to do cartwheels up hill or you could injure your back like my friend did once.
