The third commandment says "Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor, and do all your work; but the seventh day is a sabbath to the LORD your God; in it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your manservant, or your maidservant, or your cattle, or the sojourner who is within your gates; for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day; therefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day and hallowed it." (Exedus Ch 20)
However Scripture also says "Now he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath. And there was a woman who had had a spirit of infirmity for eighteen years; she was bent over and could not fully straighten herself. And when Jesus saw her, he called her and said to her, "Woman, you are freed from your infirmity." And he laid his hands upon her, and immediately she was made straight, and she praised God. But the ruler of the synagogue, indignant because Jesus had healed on the sabbath, said to the people, "There are six days on which work ought to be done; come on those days and be healed, and not on the sabbath day." Then the Lord ed him, "You hypocrites! Does not each of you on the sabbath untie his ox or his ass from the manger, and lead it away to water it? And ought not this woman, a daughter of Abraham whom Satan bound for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?" As he said this, all his adversaries were put to shame; and all the people rejoiced at all the glorious things that were done by him."(Luke Ch 13)
The principle therefore is that essential work on the Sabbath is in accordance with God's law but unnecessary work definitely is not.
Don't see how it does. Check the Commandment itself, see if you get a different angle.

In the perfect world, all Catholics (and all other Christians) would not commit adultery. However, since all Catholics are humans, they have the same weaknesses as all humans and some of them do violate the commandment 'Thou shalt not commit adultery.' The commandment spells it out but man has free will to follow God's word or to ignore it.
The cast of The Third Commandment - 1915 includes: Marguerite Courtot as Nell Richard Purdon as Cornwall - a Criminologist
No one is worshiped other than God and Jesus Christ. To do so would violate the Commandment "Thou shall have no gods before me."Many Saints are prayed to as intercessors by some Christians religions, but they are not worshiped.
By repenting and being forgiven their sins.
Because it would break the First Commandment.
The main commandment is to love, and unfortunately many Christians preach hate. This is a real tragedy. Unfortunately some Christians are Christians in name only. Christians are also human and every Christian sins at some point.
Love God, Love your neighbor as yourself. "the greatest commandment"
Christians look at death penalties as an offence that is not acceptable. This is against the sixth commandment which states, "Thou shall not kill. "
don't say God's name in vain
All Christians; according to the commandment - Love thy neighbour as thyself.
