A lot comes from the sun which they bathe in. This is because reptile's are exothermic or cold-blooded, their body heat comes from their surroundings, unlike ours which comes from friction in the blood. Only a small amount of energy comes from food.

In the wild they hunt for food, so I recommend giving them live food. Most lizards commonly eat crickets that are sold at pet stores, but a few are not able to and will be eaten by the crickets. It is also a good idea to add a few vegetables to their diet such as kale and squash.
For more information ask a worker at a pet store. (I don't recommend PetSmart)
they make their sound when their insides click over and over again
The food they eat provides energy for them
The same way that any other animal obtains energy. By eating either plants, or other animals. Different kinds of insects do both.
From basking in the sun for long periods of time
They catch other animals or they take a bite in a plant. Simple.
Grasshoppers obtain energy from the Sun by eating plants that use light energy from the Sun to make food.
Therefore, grasshoppers do obtain energy from the Sun but indirectly.
how do reptiles get there food
* thermal energy * chemical energy * nuclear energy * mechanical energy * magnetic energy * electrical energy * radiant energy * elastic energy * sound energy * luminous energy * gravitational energy
here are some: -Linear Kinetic energy -Rotational Kinetic energy -Heat energy -Atomic energy -Electrical energy -Sound energy -Solar energy -Wind energy -Tidal energy -Wave energy -Hydro energy -Nuclear energy -Succesive ionization energy
Kinetic Energy. Potential Energy . Mechanical Energy . Thermal Energy . Electromagnetic Energy . Electric Energy . Nuclear Energy . --Chemical Energy .
chemical energy,light energy,gravitational energy,,sound energy,kinetic energy,electrical energy,elastic energy,and heat energy.hope that helps hehe
The energy associated with energy is known as "energy".
Energy can come in many different forms
Not the energy that drives its metabolism. Like all reptiles, chameleons warm themselves in the sunlight, but their primary source of energy is their food. In a chameleon's case, that food is insects.
Iguana
Chameleons use energy from the sun and special cells in their body to turn"invisible"or to camouflage.
A chameleon is a carnivore.
si the chameleon is endotherm
Parson's chameleon, from Madagascar.
the french for chameleon is cameleon
Rango is a chameleon

The skin colour helps the chameleon to camoflauge with its surroundings.
