so what you do is, kill the monsters when he summons them, then while his sword is still in the ground, attack it. when sword is not in ground, hit him with blizzaga, if you got it, or any other form of blizzard. it keeps you at a good distance away but lets you still casue some damage. keep it up, and he will fall.
