ALL nations ruled by dictators rule via military imposed governance.
Bush was, what does that tell you... As much as I agree with the above stated point, Dictators don't need anyone to elect them. They use force and violence to take over governments. So no dictators aren't elected and the Supreme court wouldn't have any say about it.

Nobody. Dictators rule with Absolute Power, such as Adolph Hitler and Joseph Stalin. They answer to no one and if anyone complains about the way the Dictator is running the country, that person usually wins up in prison or is killed.
Dictators are still around, just not in North America.
