I, as one of Jehovah's Witnesses, do NOT apply the Apostles' Creed, nor any other creeds, to anything in our daily life.

Unbeknownst to many, the Apostles Creed was not formulated by the apostles. It was formulated long after the apostles had died. Professor G. C. Stead in The Expository Times, wrote among other things: "a statement of Christian belief which approximately agrees in wording with the Apostles' Creed cannot be found in any surviving writing earlier than A.D. 340."

The fact is that neither did Jesus formulate any creeds of faith to be recited. In fact Jesus said in Matthew 6:7: ". . . do not say the same thing over and over again . . ." (New Life Version)

(The Message paraphrased version) "The world is full of so-called prayer warriors who are prayer-ignorant. They're full of formulas and programs and advice, peddling techniques for getting what you want from God. Don't fall for that nonsense. This is your Father you are dealing with, . . ."

The truth about creeds is that they are all 'human' creeds, contrived by humans; not by Jesus and the apostles. In fact the creeds changed over the years, as more things were added to the creeds. It has gotten to the point where the EncyclopædiaBritannica says that among the churches of Christendom, "there are over 150 officially recognized creeds and confessions."

Jehovah's Witnesses find that we can lead a genuine Christian life, without feeling the need to constantly repeat creeds. We consider the endless repetition of religious sounding expressions (like Hallelujah, Amen, Praise Jesus, Jesus saves) much like the tribal mantras of people who do not know Jehovah God and Christ Jesus.

Well, there is one real kind of christian, Evangalists. The people who say they are christians, but really aren't are catholics. Evangalists put there beliefs in action by showing the world they are christians.E.g. being different. They do this by not cursing, not being a fornicator, not being like Vanessa Hudgens or Miley Cyrus (stripping), preaching etc. Catholics just go be like rest of the world, doing evil stuff, not really believing what they say they do .

A 'creed' is simply: 'a statement of faith'; or 'a statement of basic most important beliefs about God'.

A 'statement' is simply 'a statement'. There's nothing to 'practice', except that you 'BELIEVE' the 'statement.

But you will NOT find creeds in the Bible. Creeds are man-made. That's not necessarily bad in itself. Some creeds made by men, are good 'statements of faith'; some are based on false beliefs (premises).

So study The Bible thoroughly first; then examine the creed, phrase by phrase, to see if it aligns with the Bible. Jehovah's Witnesses for example have looked at many creeds very carefully; and just because those creeds are considered 'main-stream'; we have never-the-less discarded those creeds as worthless; and consider them as God-dishonoring. But you will have to decide for yourself.
