CrabsThey move using their legs. Unlike most other animal, they do move with an angle with respect to the observing straight. SnailsMost snails move around using a lubricate called mucus, and glide their muscular foot over that flux. Hence they are most visible immediately after rain and at cold nights. The heat of the sun, makes the mucus dry very soon and refrain the glide and such can be visible as paths in silvery color. Refer to the related question for more details.
