I have read that all of the following work for dandelion stains:
1) bleach. even if you have to dilute with 3 parts water (but not always an option)
2) lemon juice directly on the stain, set it in the sun
3) ammonia?
Oxy Clean is good at removing a variety of stains. Peroxide, lemon juice, and soap also can help remove a dandelion stain.
Different stains affect clothes in different ways. Dyes stains occur when a dye is absorbed into a piece of fabric. Tannin stains deposit color on top of the clothing. Protein stains have proteins which interact with the fabric. Oil stains resist the water which is used to clean them.
