Global warming has nothing to do with earthquakes.

Earthquakes are at the margin between two tectonic plate boundaries. As the two plates push against each other pressure builds up which is released as a tremor that is felt to us on the earth, known as an Earthquake.

For the most part, in the ways reported by the news. To the natural world, earthquakes are not highly significant. Certainly, some animals are killed by tsunami, and some ecosystems are altered. Trivial alterations occur in the speed of the earth's rotation. But all of these are minor effects.

The only significant effect of earthquakes is on the human species.

It doesn't, but something like fracking does. Oklahoma has the most earthquakes of any state because of fracking.
