Earthquakes affect the atmosphere by disrupting what's on the ground. Landslides, fires, volcanic activity, tsunamis and faulting caused by earthquakes often lead to the release of toxins, pathogens and other pollutants into the atmosphere.

Earthquakes can do a lot of damage where they occur including surrounding areas.

EFFECTS OF EARTHQUAKE:

  • Avalanches
  • Tidal waves (tsunami)
  • Spills of hazardous chemicals
  • Flooding
  • Electrical fires
  • Death
  • Building damage
  • Road and bridges destroyed
  • Broken gas lines

Earthquakes produce various damaging effects to the areas they act upon. This includes damage to buildings and in worst cases the loss of human life. The effects of the rumbling produced by earthquakes usually leads to the destruction of structures such as buildings, bridges, and dams.

The earthquake is interacted with the atmosphere because at the bottom of the earth their are these huge plates. so when something causes the plates to move and they bump in to each other thats when the earth shakes. so the plates are really heavy that even a million strong men can not pick it up because see if they bump in to each other the earth shakes. it is not really interacted with atmosphere because plates that are at the bottom of the earth everywhere so wheryever they bump in to each other the earth will shake but atleast only in that area.
