Yesterday I witnessed an odd fish behavior. A large carp took my plastic bait which was unusual to begin with. While I was fighting the carp at one point another similar sized carp came up along side the hooked carp and seemed to encourage it to continue fighting. The unhooked carp turned the hooked carp out of the shallows back toward open water where it started another run, peeling line off the reel. I never witnessed behavior like that with fish.
