A Dog's pedigree is a record of all of it's ancestors (parents, grandparents etc.) from the last 5 generations. This helps breeders to tell which Dog's can be mated together without inbreeding or whether the Dog has any faults in it's family tree. For example: If a dog has perfect markings but one of it's parents didn't, then there is a chance that some of it's puppies will also have bad markings. Breeders will also use pedigrees to see if a Dog has any inherited diseases in it's bloodline.

2%

In which cells of the human body is the genetic information for making salivary amylase found?

In all cells of the human body. Only in the gland cells is this information ' turned on ' though.

Do the human sperm and egg cell each normally carry one third of the genetic information of the potential offspring?

No - they carry half of the genetic information. The new offspring will have half their genetic information from each parent. Therefore sperm and egg cells carry half the amount of genetic material found in normal cells.

The genetic information carried by the cell.

What percent of the nucleotide bases in the human genome actually carries genetic information?

The nucleotide bases comprise the genetic information, they are the "digits" of the code, they make up the genes. As such your question is meaningless.

Yes, if they are the result of sexual reproduction and are not identical twins.

Does the human heart and lungs contain cells that have the same genetic information but perform different functions?

Yes. Every cell in your body contains the exact same genetic information, regardless of where that cell is found.

Human genetic traits are controlled by?

Human genetic traits are primarily controlled by genes, which are sequences of DNA that code for specific traits. These genes are inherited from our parents and can be influenced by both genetic and environmental factors. The combination of genes we inherit determines our physical characteristics, such as eye color, height, and susceptibility to diseases.
