How do get the climate control out of ec mode on a 99 e320 it stays on ec mode economy even after lowering temperature setting to lowest possible setting while on ec mode the ac won't come on?

Click the EC button on and off; is the red light on all the time? If its off then click on recirc button with lowest temp setting for both sides.

there is a fault in the system the light that's why its on your gas levels are probably low
