I'm assuming that you are reffering to what colors should be bred to a blue dane. The AKC breed standard states that a blue great dane may be bred with one that is a blue or a black.

∙ 12y agoThe female comes into heat and then is able to be bred. The male will mount the female and breed her. It is just like any other dog.
