Some guinea pigs bite in threatening situations so you might want to interact with them before you buy them maybe let the oldest hold them to make sure they dont bite adults are too calm with them to tell

It depends on what your looking for. Long haired guinea pigs are a little more high maintence because you have to brush them and cut there hair on there bottom. Other then that it just depends on the guinea pigs personality.
