horses normally don't know who their mother is after they are weaned...
i know because at my barn where i ride at; one mare was separated from her filly... then they both got sold so they both got sold and left together in a trailer and came back together in the same trailer... then they got turned out together with a bunch of other ponies and they were on like opposite sides of the trailer...
hope this helps.,..

The Queen Mother, Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon, kept her horses at several locations, most notably at the Royal Mews in London, where royal carriages and horses are housed. Additionally, she had a residence at the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, which included stables for her horses. The Queen Mother was known for her love of horses and equestrian activities, particularly horse racing.
The horses's young follow their moms around. The mother milks her young until he is old enough to fend for himself. Like a mother bear, horses are very protective of their young. The foal learns how to eat and take care of itself from its mother and the other horses around it.The foal follows their mother around when they are a baby, and the baby drinks the mother's milk until it is old enough to eat real food. Horses are very protective of their young like bears are, the foal learns how to eat and take care of themselves from their mother and the horses around it.
Baby horses stay with there mother about nine months.

Yes, baby horses, also known as foals, drink their mother's milk. They rely on their mother's milk for nourishment and to grow strong and healthy. This is a natural and important part of their development.
technically all horses are walking horses you just have to know how to ride them. You must know how to make them run, trot, and walk
A foal copies it's mother.
Same way as human mothers
