Like all other birds hummingbirds communicate by chirping and singing. They have a short high pitched chirp. This chirp is easily recognized from other birds songs or chirps.

Can hummingbirds get aggressive I have a hummingbird that when he is out of nectar he flies real close to my window and stares in what the heck one smart bird so what do you think?

I've never heard of one getting "aggressive" ie. attacking. But I have seen hummingbirds try to communicate with me when the feeder was empty. Pretty smart! Hummingbirds are territorial. It may see its reflection in the glass and think that it's a rival.
