You add freon to the a/c by using the low side, suction side (larger hose).............
You don't add Freon as it has R134a not Freon. You add it to the low pressure side which is the larger hose.
You add freon to the low side fitting,top front,on the ac compressor
You can add freon on the low side service port that is located on the accumulator next to the firewall................

Its best to use a set of a/c gauges but if you are not then just add the freon to the low side which will be the larger hose (suction side)...

I'm guessing. Cut the crimped line. add more line. Re crimp and solder it. Check for over heat damage. Then repair.
